Room scheduling software for music schools and teaching studios

A music school timetable is mostly the same every week: a teacher, a room and a time. BookStudioNow books those lessons as repeating series, keeps school holidays off every calendar at once, and counts each teacher's hours from the bookings, so the monthly figures are ready without a spreadsheet.

Weekly lessons as series

Book a lesson once and repeat it weekly, every two weeks or monthly until the end of term. To change one lesson, edit just that one; to change the time for the rest of the term, edit this and the following ones.

Holidays marked once

Mark school holidays and public holidays as days off for the whole school. They show in every date picker, are skipped by the free-slot search and are taken off each teacher's available hours.

Rooms of every size

A practice room takes one booking at a time; a hall can take several. Set how many people a room holds and how many bookings may run in it at once, and the calendar warns you before it overfills.

Teachers' hours for the month

Every lesson a teacher is on counts towards their month. Give each teacher a monthly budget and the reports show booked, taught and remaining hours, ready for payroll.

Questions

Can teachers see each other's timetables?
Only if you allow it. By default people see their own lessons in full and others only as “Booked”, and you can widen that per room.
What happens to lessons on a school holiday?
Days off are marked for the whole school, show in every calendar and warn before anything is booked or moved onto them.
Is there a discount for music schools?
Yes. Write to hello@bookstudionow.com and we'll work something out.
